The mercy and goodwill is the key to the heaven. I have not climbed the heaven, but I climbed the Mount Kailas. That mountain was never conquered by people and the sharp was like a pyramid. At Buddhism, it is an Athos with a lot of gods. When I was a soldier in Tibet, the idea of liberation was always in my mind. The feet and hands needed to use at same time when we were in the process of climbing. If you were careless, this mountain will to be the tomb for you. Mount Kailas was really beautiful and was easy to lose ourselves in it. Is that the heaven? I don’t know, but I think we can build a heaven in our heart.
When I was very young, I often had the unreasonable ideas. I felt the huge lucky would happened to me. Later I knew that people should base on the capability to do thongs and never complain the real life. Maybe the suffering came from God which can help you to through the difficulties. Sometimes I received the letters from young people who want to get the help. At the end, it became the specific requirements: I need the money. I hope you can recommend me. I want to have a job…
At once I received a letter from a girl: “I spent ten dollars to find your address and then write a letter to you. But you did not write back. Why you unwilling write back? Do you not want to help me? I choice you because of you looked like a kind man. I hope you don’t live up my trust.” I hope she can depend on herself to break away the privation. So I wrote back like this.
Even now I felt guilty when I remembered that girl. I did not know what happened to her later. I did not send the money to her or help her to find a job. Now, I still believe that people need to rely on themselves to live. Helping is just an excuse to evade the life, so I could not support it. I am so sorry, and you could not forgive me forever.
