On April 22, 2010, the grand press conference of the Third World Environmental Conference was held in Jinhe Hall of Beijing Asia Hotel. It was jointly arranged by the International Energy Environment Council (IEEPA), the Chinese Society of Urban Economy (CSUE), China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CPEIA) and the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) and guided and supported by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for green activities. There are some international institutions undertaking part of the conference. They are World Natural Ladder Association, the Global Fund, the New York State SME Development Centre Department, China Environmental Science Society, Canada Toronto municipal government, the United States in the Foundation, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce co-support Global Environmental Institute (GEI), China National Committee on International Chamber of Commerce (ICC China) and Japan-China Environment Cooperation support center (JCESC).
The Third World Environmental Conference will be held in July 28, 2010 to July 31 in Asia Hall of Asia Hotel in Beijing.
World Environmental Conference (WEC) is short for the General Assembly of the World's Environmental Protection of China's Development. It is co-sponsored by international organizations, industrial organizations of countries in the world and industrial bodies to promote energy saving and new energy industries, low-carbon economic development and integration of global resources, leading the world environmental protection in China's international high-end brand development process. It is held once every year. The world conference on environmental protection makes sustainable development as strategic guidance system, the International Organization of Economic Cooperation Organization as the main form, co-sponsored by the government involvement, professional economies, research and academic institutions and other trade associations as characteristics. And it is to coordinate the building of comprehensive resources and create Chinese pattern in the world's economic development.
