Now basically, everyone has an idea of how to lose weight, don't we?

So why do we find it so difficult? Every single diet plan on the market, regardless of how great it is will not work without one essential ingredient, Will Power!

Sadly that isn't something we could get from the shop, that I'm afraid to say, is one thing that people have to supply ourselves, and without one, just about every diet plan that you try will probably fail.

There are some good diet programs around and one diet that suits a person won't strictly match another. Therefore you may find that you and your best friend are planning to begin a diet plan together, your friend may be going great guns and burning off pound after pound, but you, are not. It's quite frustrating; however it's the truth of life that we are all made-up diversely.

Personally I don't suggest diets as such. After you limit your calories, your body will believe that there's a food shortage, and it will go into starvation mode. Once in starvation mode, it will decelerate your fat burning capacity to conserve calories.

You see our bodies happen to be set from way back that when there is no abundance of food, we had to look for our food so our meals were not consistent. The metabolic process adjusts the usage of our calories so that in periods of food shortage; we would not waste away and go without food.

Currently in this point in time, there's always food at hand; yet our bodies are not aware of this. When you skip a meal your body goes on hunger alert and slow that metabolic process all the way down, which means next time you eat, the body is going to hang right on to those calories and store as much of them as it could as fat.

So, what's the solution? There's been tons of investigation and in my opinion the way forward is this: To maintain your metabolism ticking over at a consistent pace, you have to eat regular meals, typical small meals every 2.5 - three hours, try to include protein in these meals (meat, preferably lean meat i.e. chicken, turkey, tuna) because protein doesn't shoot your blood sugar right up and plummet it down again as sugary foods would. Maintain your daily calories to a standard level, (check out your most suitable consumption online somewhere).

Our next part is something that you're not particularly going to desire, however, it's the only method forward, you have to Workout!!

You may need cardiovascular exercise 3-4 times a week for approx 40 mins at a time, and very important, you should do weight training, as the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn off. Ladies don't freak out, I am not saying that you have to look like Arnie, but you need muscle tone, and the more you have, the more body fat you will burn, even when you fall asleep!

Best Of Luck!
