Computers in the classroom
With the use of computers in the classroom children are involved in many activities which help establish the love for reading and learning. Through different computer programs children read fun and exciting stories. They also explore many activities regarding letters, sounds and numbers. While learning, they are reading poems, singing songs and completing mathematics and reading assessments. This will help them expand their vocabulary and acquire great knowledge.
The use of computers help children be independent by providing them with the knowledge they need to feel confidence while growing up. It also aids them in developing activities with other children; stimulating good conduct and interaction between peers.
Computer programs bring interesting materials which educators use in class achieving more student interaction; conducing to higher academic success. This amazing world of technology also caters to parents whom can now help their child at home with projects creating a positive atmosphere for learning, communication, and family time. All these key point are extremely important for the development of children, particularly in their primary years.
The use of computers in the classrooms will facilitate the enrichment of children’s knowledge by developing their abilities and establish a foundation for a solid sociological development. In addition, it will build on their linguistic, physical, and cognitive skills.
