The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and Prometric has released a practice paper for students attempting CAT 2010 on its official website ww.catiim.in. The test gives a comprehensive idea to the candidates about what CAT 2010 would be like.
The test comprises of two sections, first is a tutorial providing the guidelines of the CAT user interface and the second is the fully functioning practice test.

The tutorial guides the candidates about the buttons in the test window—question number, mark, review, next, and quit buttons. The tutorial will be followed by 12 sample questions. The candidate will have 15 minutes for selecting, deselecting, marking and reviewing a question. These sample questions are a guideline to familiarize the candidates with the navigation procedure of the actual test. The candidates will be able to judge their preparation level while attending the test as CAT 2010 is nearing.
CAT 2010 will be conducted over a 20 days window between 27 October and 24 November. The results will be announced on 12 January 2011.
