Personality affects everything, from quality to customer service to the bottom line. So employers invest in profiling to get better bottom line results. it's as simple as that.

Of course not all employers have figured this out but millions have.
Exploit your Job Test
If you are just looking to scam your way past a test then this is not the article for you. it's a flawed approach and not recommended because;

1) This is an assessment not a Personality Test.

2) Personality is not something you should try to change.

You do not want to land a job that is unsuitable for your personality type. You would soon become miserable no matter what money they paid you.

There are plenty of environments out there that are compatible to your nature and you are better to hold out till you find one of them.

A job test will help with this. Discover the jobs that are made for you and the ones that should be avoided at all costs.

This is your career so don't leave it to the employer to decide if its right for you.

If this approach works for employers then do you see any reason it wouldn't work for you?
Psychometric Testing can benefit everyone, including you

Why do companies spend so much money on Psychometric Testing? Can we learn anything from this?

The work of Carl Jung has been in industrial application since the fifties. Psychometric testing is commonly experienced if you are attending interviews. A job test, is pretty normal when you are in the job market.

Is there a difference between a Psychometric Test and Personality Test?
These words are often used interchangeably. Psychometric testing is about more than personality. It also includes numeracy and literacy. A personality test is a type of psychometric.

Here we are only talking about personality.
How to get ahead with a personality test
It's not possible to enjoy sustainable success unless you place yourself in an environment that is compatible with your core personality.

It doesn't matter if you can tick all the other boxes;

salary
car
experience
qualifications

If your personality isn't a good fit then you will soon become stressed in some way and your performance will drop. To get ahead you need to be really good at what you do. And to be really good you need to be working at something that comes naturally to you.

Average performance can only ever command an average salary and it's impossible to rise above average if you are not working in harmony with your personality type. On such occasions you are working against yourself and getting in your way. When you work more with what's natural you get much better results.
