More devices are going wireless with the advancement of technology. The telephones, games, internet and other electronic devices benefit from this technology, and so do the surveillance security system. The good news is that you can now have wireless surveillance network in your homes and offices.
People are now forgetting the difficulty of installing a wired home surveillance system. You can now easily install a simple wireless system in your home or office. With wireless system installation you will not spoil your interior by running wires from the camera to the monitor.
They are quite easy to install even though there are some drawbacks. One such drawback is the urge to move the cameras to change their positioning, but in all, surveillance security system work efficiently and effectively.
Another drawback is the possibility of hackers to pick signals from the camera if they are within the signal coverage area of the camera. Thirdly, the signals from the camera may be weak if the distance from the camera to the receiver is longer than the distance specified by the manufacturer.

How does wireless system works?
The camera works as a transmitter which capture images and send it via a receiver to either a switcher, quad processor or DVR if you want the images captured to be recorded. The switcher, quad processor or DVR act as the receiver which in turn send the signals to the monitor for the display of the images. It is also possible for this signals to be transmitted through the internet. In this case you can view the signals wherever you are as long as you are connected to the internet.

We all have the right to live and maintain privacy in every aspect of our life. In view of this, you must not use your camera to pry into someone’s personal life. While installing security camera, you must always keep in mind that both your safety and others’ right to enjoy private life must be preserved.
