If you happen to live in Pennsylvania, then you surely would have heard about the rapid change in the workforce since 2003 there, and that’s because of the works of the woman named Sandi Vito. She’s the acting secretary for the department of labor and industry, and she’s doing a very good job. She works for human resources, mostly and helps improve the lives of the people she is helping to find better jobs or higher wages.
The state of Pennsylvania was deteriorating in the past before Gov. Rendell stepped in. He appointed Sandi Vito for the most crucial department of the state where lies the biggest problem his government has to face. And with the help of Sandi, they’ve seen rapid improvement and more investors came in order to transact their businesses around Pennsylvania.
If it wasn’t for the proper training that they are offering and improving the quality of their workforce, investors would be afraid to invest their money and hire people from the state. It’s the result of cause and effect. Once the state does not have something good to offer then there won’t be new businesses, employment and investors who would come in. As a result of this, people would be poorer as they would either settle to low-paying jobs or will not have jobs at all, and this will reduce the tax payments received by the state which it could use for progress. Sandi Vito knows about this, and she knows that the bottom line is that the human resources in Pennsylvania must and should be improved. With proper education and proper training and a little of marketing for the betterment of the state, they have seen incredible improvement, and the state is receiving more from its taxes because people started to earn more. In fact, with the help of Sandi thousands of individuals had received over 6% increase in their first-year wages.
Sandi Vito knows the value of good education as she’s also a product of that. Aside from her impressive work background, she actually studied well. She graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Stockton State University, and she got her Community & Regional Planning skills from Temple University. With her keen knowledge about the economics and her exposure at work and her great leadership skills she can make a lot of great changes. Her success means the success of thousands of people in Pennsylvania because her heart is really for them. She wants to improve the lives of these people, and they love her deeply for her tremendous efforts. Awards and recognitions are coming from all corners but for Sandi the greatest awards she received are the thank you’s from the people she had helped improve the lives.
