Almost all businesses ever existed probably started from nothing. As always, there is one person or a group of persons who envisioned something great and something big in the future. All ventures were once a part of a big fantasy in hopes of doing something for the purpose of filling up a void which they are passionate about. Of course, this is alongside the reality of wanting to earn profit from it. All businesses are measured on how much it makes. This is reflective with how many clients or patrons does it have. Mainstream popularity is one of the benchmarks of a successful business. And for a business to be considered successful, it must undergo years or even decades of transformation to try if it can withstand the tests of time.
Image Works is not an exception to that. The New York-based photography house sure did go through a very colorful timeline before it reached the pedestal where it is raised presently. The two entrepreneurial visionaries behind the success of Image Works are its two founders Alan Carey and Mark Antman. Like any other businesses, the initial years of Image Works were solely dedicated to making a name and introducing the business to the public. This is where the reliability and quality for the services of the company is tested. Image Works has successfully made a strong customer base since they centered their services on the various techniques of photography using the technological innovations made during those years.
After breaking in to the photography industry, it was in time for Image Works to finally plan for an expansion in terms of the services they offer. Since people have already accounted them as trustworthy photography studio, they need to be in sync with the number of customers they are serving. Thus, an expansion is just about time. Mark Antman and Alan Carey capitalized on editorial photography. It was also the period where the fashion industry went on a boom and photo shoots were happening from every corner. Antman and Carey were parts of the most successful fashion campaigns which they were hired as the photographers. They also heavily banked up on hardware and software and found technology as a very prospective method to serve customers faster and better. They were one of the pioneers of digital photography.
In 2001, Image Works decided to keep its doors open despite the untimely retirement of Alan Carey. Martk Antman continued and stayed true to the promise of being one of the best photograph powerhouses in New York. He has proven that even though two heads are better that one, he can still bring more success to image Works and let it continue thriving. The twentieth century was the biggest witness to the further flourishing of the photography studio. Until now, the company stands proud in New York providing outstanding imagery for its clients.
