"Recall " really brought great difficulties to .Toyota. Although the recall happened in the U.S. market, Toyota’s retail sales in the Chinese market dropped a lot because people suspected on the safety of the car of Toyota. It is thus said that Toyota may fall. But it seems not the case.
As a industry that leads most of the related industries, the automotive industry has always occupied a very important position in developed countries, and even affect the developed countries’ president votes. It is precisely for this reason, the automotive industry has always received the attention of major industrialized countries.
In the U.S., auto unions are strong supporters of Obama. At the most difficult times of the economy, Obama must return to vehicle trade unions. The simplest method is to compress Japanese cars in U.S. market share. Toyota, as the world's largest carmaker, is also the one did most successful in the United Statest multinational companies. The U.S. government natural wii do some protecting measures against Toyota. Toyota, the Japanese government will never let it down. Because the rise and fall issues of Toyota is beyond auto industry, beyond the pure economic issues, it is related to political issues, related to national spirit.
