No matter where you stay, there comes a time in your life when you come across graffiti walking down the street. There are different perspectives of everyone on graffiti, some people admire it and think it’s a great form of art and on the other hand there are people who hate it and think it’s a form of vandalism. People who are into the art are able to understand it in a much better rather than just vandalism. It is more considered as a form of art in order to express your thoughts and feelings. It’s just like expressing or writing your thoughts in a diary but graffiti is a more expressive and different medium of showing them. Though it is a form of aggression or nuisance for some people but still you can’t unnoticed or get away with its interesting form of expression and innovative style. Most people consider it as a form of unhappy and dissatisfied youth.

In this form of art, you will usually notice brightened walls and buildings with thoughts that are harmless and creative at the same time. There are two most common types of graffiti and that includes hip hop graffiti and tagging. In case of hip hop graffiti, you will usually notice large hip hop pieces with the help of aerosol graffiti spray paint. Such art form is usually an intricate combination of cartoons and letters sketch. This type of graffiti generally takes a lot of time because a lot of planning and designating is done before making it. On the other hand, tagging graffiti is a used to signify or convey ‘mark territory’. This is used to signify someone’s presence and to articulate so and so was here. There are other types of graffiti’s that are racially provoked and some are even politically oriented and it also carries some dealings with urban street fighting.

There are a lot of companies who pay a lot of money to graffiti artists so that they can paint logos of their companies on walls and building in order to increase popularity of their product. This is one of the main problems today because it is an illegal form of advertising. Graffiti is a creative form of expressing yourself and a lot of characters, tags and memorials are painted as a form of expression of art and oneself. For an artist, graffiti means more than anything else because it is the only form through which they can express their thoughts with the help of colors¸ pictures and words. It is also a stress reliever for many and at the same time it is fun way of painting on the wall. Artists use different kind of vibrant graffiti spray paint to deliver their message to people which depicts the message in each piece. Since long time, graffiti is being seen as an interesting culture in itself and there are no qualms that it will continue to be around for a long time because it has now become a source of bread and butter for many.
